INFOS & FAQS

The Schattberg tickets are only available in combination with the RaveOnSnow Weekend or the Weekend + Thursday Pass. If you only have a day ticket for Saturday, you can celebrate with us on the Hinterhag Alm and the Soul House Open-Air-Floor or hope for one of the remaining Schattberg tickets.

If it were up to us, it wouldn't, but you have to get up the mountain somehow, and that costs the usual uphill/downhill fare of €30. If you want to go to the piste anyway and buy a ski pass, you can of course join the party. You can reach the Hinterhag Alm either with the 6-seater tower lift for a mere €10 or simply on foot.

For safety reasons, the ascent and descent tickets are limited. The descent can become a problem if thousands of people rush towards the mountain station when the weather changes. Understandable. Together with Bergbahnen Saalbach, we have set a ticket contingent that guarantees safety on the Schattberg summit. This contingent can also be purchased in advance on site. If you want to secure your ticket in good time, you can buy it on Thursday from 13:00 and on Friday from 11:00 at the Schattberg Xpress valley station.

No. The ski passes are available to buy in different grades at the lift stations in Saalbach.

You will find the box office / ribbon exchange in the centre of Saalbach - directly opposite the town hall / municipality (opposite Castello). The box office is open on Thursday from 15:00. On Friday it is open from 12:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 02:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 and from 16:00.

Yes, absolutely. There is a lanyard check at all entrances.

E-tickets must be exchanged for wristbands at the ticket office in the centre of Saalbach - directly opposite the town hall (near Castello). If you have booked a RaveOnSnow package with a hotel, the RaveOnSnow wristband will be waiting for you at the hotel.

Yes, there is a limited VIP ticket contingent. With the VIP band you can enjoy some very favourable benefits: You have free access to the VIP areas, receive priority entry to the venues and can experience the dancefloor from the DJ's perspective. You can also purchase the tickets as an add-on if you already have a normal ticket.

To get here by car, simply enter the address ‘Glemmtaler Landesstraße, 5753, Austria’ and you will arrive relaxed in the centre of Saalbach.

There are two landing options by plane:

1. the flight to Salzburg: Eurowings offers direct flights from Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Lufthansa offers a direct flight from Frankfurt am Main. Once you have landed in Salzburg, you can take the Postbus, line 260, or the airport shuttle.

2. the flight to Munich:
If you land in Munich by plane, you can take the RaveOnSnow festival bus.

Of course, as every year, there will be a shuttle between the villages in the Glemmtal. This will also run at night. The timetable will be communicated on our social media channels shortly before the festival and will also be visible on site.

Most hotels have their own car parks, although some of these are subject to a charge. Please enquire at the hotel you have booked. In the centre of Saalbach (entrance via the tunnel) there is a large, paid parking garage, which is also designated as a parking area by some hotels.
Unfortunately, there are hardly any free car parks in Saalbach. We also recommend that you don't park wildly, as the municipality distributes tickets quite quickly and consistently.

Yes, as every year, you can expect the usual police checks on motorists after the festival. To avoid this, we recommend travelling by bus or train.

All locations are in Saalbach. However, this should not prevent you from booking a hotel outside Saalbach. Our shuttles/nightliners run from Jausern via Saalbach to Hinterglemm/Lengau.

You can book as many additional days as you like. On the Wednesday before RaveOnSnow, the tavern invites you to the official warm-up.

As a minor, do I need authorisation from my legal guardian?

Of course! Only please: ‘Don't Drink & Ride’. Ski passes are available at all lift stations in Saalbach & Hinterglemm.

The discounted pre-season prices apply until 22 December. Further information can be found at www.saalbach.com.

If you’d like to get an overview of the ski area before hitting the slopes, the webcams offer a first glimpse of the current slope conditions.
