LINEUP
We are currently working on the line-up for Rave On Snow 2025 and will be announcing the first acts here shortly.
Rave on Snow - the ultimate winter festival in the Alps
Three days, three nights - non-stop beats, powder and pure festival feeling! Experience unique DJ sets, pulsating party nights and unforgettable moments in the snow at the legendary Rave on Snow in Saalbach from 11 - 14 December.
Yes, absolutely. There is a lanyard check at all entrances.
E-tickets must be exchanged for wristbands at the ticket office in the centre of Saalbach - directly opposite the town hall (near Castello). If you have booked a RaveOnSnow package with a hotel, the RaveOnSnow wristband will be waiting for you at the hotel.
We've moved! The box office/wristband exchange is now located directly at the entrance to the main stage. The box office will be open on Thursday from 3 p.m. On Friday, it will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. onwards.
Yes, there is a limited VIP ticket contingent. With the VIP band you can enjoy some very favourable benefits: You have free access to the VIP areas, receive priority entry to the venues and can experience the dancefloor from the DJ's perspective. You can also purchase the tickets as an add-on if you already have a normal ticket.
You will find the box office / ribbon exchange in the centre of Saalbach - directly opposite the town hall / municipality (opposite Castello). The box office is open on Thursday from 15:00. On Friday it is open from 12:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 02:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 and from 16:00.
Yes, absolutely. There is a lanyard check at all entrances.
Are the parties on the Schattberg extra? You can exchange e-tickets for wristbands at the ticket offices at the Mainstage entrance during opening hours. If you have booked a RaveOnSnow package with hotel accommodation, your RaveOnSnow wristband will be waiting for you at the hotel.
If it were up to us, no, but somehow you have to get up the mountain, and that costs the usual mountain/downhill fare of €30. If you want to hit the slopes anyway and buy a ski pass, you can of course join the party. You can reach the Hinterhag Alm either with the Turmlift 6er for a mere €12 or simply on foot.
The nearest railway station is Zell am See, from where you can easily take the Postbus, line 680, to Saalbach.
To get here by car, simply enter the address ‘Glemmtaler Landesstraße, 5753, Austria’ and you will arrive relaxed in the centre of Saalbach.
There are two options for flying:
1. Flight to Salzburg: Eurowings offers direct flights from Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg on various days. Lufthansa offers a direct flight from Frankfurt am Main. Berlin routes via Frankfurt. Once you land in Salzburg, you can continue your journey with the Postbus, line 260, or the airport shuttle.
2. Flight to Munich: If your flight lands in Munich, you can continue to Saalbach with the RaveOnSnow Festival bus.
Of course, the RaveOnSnow Nightliner Shuttle (6 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) will take you from Jausern, Viehhofen, Hinterglemm and Lengau directly to the Main Stage/Schattberg Xpress and safely back home again. The timetable will be communicated shortly before the festival via our social media channels, the app and the guide.
During the day, the ski bus runs on the aforementioned route.
Most hotels have their own car parks, although some of these are subject to a charge. Please enquire at the hotel you have booked. In the centre of Saalbach (entrance via the tunnel) there is a large, paid parking garage, which is also designated as a parking area by some hotels. Unfortunately, there are hardly any free car parks in Saalbach. We also recommend that you don't park wildly, as the municipality distributes tickets quite quickly and consistently.
Yes, they are to be expected. To protect your health and your driving licence, the message is clear: don't drink and drive.
All locations are in Saalbach. However, this should not prevent you from booking a hotel outside Saalbach. Our shuttles/nightliners run from Jausern via Saalbach to Hinterglemm/Lengau
You can book as many extra days as you like. On the Wednesday before RaveOnSnow, the Taverne invites you to come and warm up.
As a minor, do I need authorisation from my legal guardian?
Of course! Only please: ‘Don't Drink & Ride’. Ski passes are available at all lift stations in Saalbach & Hinterglemm.
The discounted winter start prices are valid until 20 December. Further information can be found at https://www.saalbach.com/de/winter/skitickets/winterstart
